The 2009 40's Costume Contest
will be held on Saturday, May 30
during the 2 sets of performances by the
Sugar & Jazz Orchestra
7:00 PM to 8:00 PM & 9:00 PM to 10:00 PM

The contest is open to couples of all ages. Contestants will compete against each other.

Contestant couples sign-in will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2008, at 6:45 PM, in the Marketplace. The contest will start at 7:00 PM.

The contestants will be judged on:
1) How close to the time period their costumes are.
2) The level of difficulty involved to create their costumes.
3) Overall design of their costumes.

Ribbons will be awarded to the first, second, and third-place winners.

The 2009 Pierogi-Eating Contest
will be held on Saturday, May 30
from 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM

The contest is open to all persons between 18 years of age or older. Contestants will compete against each other. The object is to eat as many pierogis as possible in any style (with water, if desired) within the allotted time of 5 minutes.

Contestant sign-in will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2008, at 5:30 PM, in the Grange. The contest will start at 5:45 PM.

Winners will be determined by counting the number of pierogi eaten. Trophies will be awarded to the first, second, and third-place finishers.
