Spirit of St. Nicholas - “Dziękuję bardzo”
Christmas Letter from Poland

Dear Mrs. Christine and our Benefactors,

Someone once said that in our journey towards God, only one ticket counts – love. And love means understanding, friendliness and gratitude. So with real gratitude I address these words to you. We owe you so much.

Thank you very much for the gifts we received before Christmas. Our girls had so much joy with them! They tried on the garments, and bragged to each other. Every package was addressed to each girl – something outstanding! All garments were very good. There were gifts for all the children.

It is so wonderful that you remember all of us. Our girls are so happy when someone remembers them and gives such beautiful gifts. They shared their excitement opening and trying on the clothes. They received blouses, trousers, jackets, coats, etc. All the clothing was practical, very needed and very nice. They already wear them for school and to church.

We remember all of you in every day prayer, and we wish you God’s blessing.

We have just survived the celebration of the dedication of the new building – the educational center for the girls in Jaroslaw. Thanks to God, and to the good people, the house was built. Today, it is a beautiful sign in our community. This is a family house, for the poorest children. This is a source of joy, not only for the Sisters, but also for the children. Common good produces common joy.

Thank you very much for everything! I am sending you pictures of the house, and of the children at Christmas. I wish you God’s blessings for each day, for you and all the benefactors.

My Best Regards,
In God

Sister Zofia Jaremko
